In July, two activities were organized by Finch Floating Homes as thanks to our donors to the crowdfunding campaign.
On Sunday July 8th, the floating building excursion in Nieuwkoop at Boerensport took place. The weather was great and the participants enthusiastic. Pieter gave a lecture about building on the water, after which we built a raft ourselves. We would like to thank Boerensport and our participants for the fun day.
A week later, on Sunday July 15th, the Filipino cooking course in Amsterdam took place. While it was warm outside, we made five dishes under the guidance of chef Angel Cruz from the Philippines. On the menu were Filipino spring rolls, sinigang na bangus, pork and chicken adobo, lumpia togue and halo halo. We very much enjoyed all the good food and company. We would like to thank Angel Lontok Cruz, Willem Jakobs and the participants for the tasty day.
