In this previous news article, it was mentioned that the floating home was included in the publication the ‘Sint Maarten Solutions Bidbook’ – a book used as inspiration for the organisations and people involved in the reconstruction of the island of Saint Martin. Apart from this, we, together with 14 other startups, were asked to present at the Startup Solutions for Saint Martin event in The Hague on the 5th of April. Various interesting speakers were present at the event, which was organized by Impact City and Startup Delta, including, among others, the Netherlands Red Cross, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Innofest and the Ministries of the Interior, Foreign Affairs and Defence. During the event, the bidbook was offered to Hasani Ellis, minister of Saint Martin, and the organization hopes to inspire and stimulate a promising and fruitful reconstruction of the island.
