As part of their Master thesis research, two students of the TU Delft Master track Building Technology of the faculty of Architecture recently travelled to Macabebe in the Philippines to conduct field research in collaboration with Finch Floating Homes. Over a four week time span, they evaluated the indoor environmental quality of the prototype (through installing remote sensing devices) and worked on improvements of the current design. Moreover, research was conducted on the construction design of an amphibious classroom.
